Joe DracheView My GalleryAll my life I've been into drawing. Not just drawing, but drawing malicious creatures, threatening war-machines and beautiful women, preferably, the malevolent variety. I also create images of beauty and softness to adorn your most feminine and soft side. I never imagined as a child that I'd be a tattooist. I grew up in Portsmouth, Virginia So my friend, Shawn Spindel, ingenious little McGyver-dude decided he would build a tattoo machine, and make use of my artistic skills to get some free ink. I was game, so after a couple of hours in the garage, his contraption was complete. And let me tell you that machine was a piece of #@%&* if I ever saw one, but I didn't know any better, so we got to work. Two or three hours later I had scratched a jagged outline of Beetlejuice onto his chest, and much to his dismay it washed out completely in the shower that night! We had used water-soluble ink! From such humble beginnings, 15 years later I'm a well established, award winning tattooist. I've tattooed around the world, from the States to Australia and back. I've worked at conventions with the best in the business, and my flash has sold around the world. I like to draw unique subject matter. I also try to take conventional ideas and push them a bit further. These designs are straight from the heart, I love drawing them, I love tattooing them, and I'd be happy to wear any of them. This is Art in the form of tattoo, and that is what makes it stand out from the crowd. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy doing it. I have always challenged myself tattooing, doing the best work that can be done. I have been fortunate enough to be able to expand my artistic skills to include, tattoo flash design, painting (oil & acrylic), illustrations and video game design.
